What ages does Slater Montessori Academy serve?
Our classrooms serve children ages 2 to 6: Pre-Primary (2–3 years), Primary (3–4½ years), Advanced Primary (4–5 years) and TK/Kindergarten (4½–6 years). Please call to ask about infant care availability.
What are your hours?
Slater Montessori Academy is open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Where is the school?
We're at 10316 Slater Avenue, Fountain Valley, CA 92708, in Orange County — easy to reach from Huntington Beach, Westminster, Garden Grove, Santa Ana and Costa Mesa.
How much is tuition?
Weekly rates start from $190 for a limited time. Full-time and part-time schedules are available — call (714) 962-2799 or send an enrollment inquiry for the current rate card.
What's included in tuition?
Breakfast, a hot lunch and daily snacks; potty training at no extra cost; and weekly enrichment such as soccer, dance, music, cooking, gardening, art, computers, yoga, fitness and Spanish.
Do you accept child-care funding?
Yes. We accept all government funding programs, including the Orange County Department of Education, Children's Home Society, Care for Connections, CalWORKs and Crystal Stairs.
How do I schedule a tour?
Call (714) 962-2799, email info@slatermontessori.com or use our online tour form. Tours are on weekdays so you can see the Montessori work period — children are welcome!
Do you help with potty training?
Yes. Potty training is part of our Pre-Primary day and is included at no additional cost.
Do you offer part-time schedules?
Yes. We offer full-time and part-time options, including half-day, 2-day and 3-day schedules.
Is Slater a licensed school?
Yes. Slater Montessori Academy is a licensed child care center in Fountain Valley, California.
Do children learn Common Core skills?
Yes. Montessori is our foundation, and we also follow Common Core State Standards and a S.T.E.A.M. program, so children are well prepared for elementary school.
